St. James Church, Akeley

The Church building in Akeley was deemed unsafe in 1979 and was taken down.

Church services are now held regularly in the St. James and St. John School hall in Church Hill, Akeley, and occasionally in the larger village hall.

Services are held:

Akeley services are normally held at 9-30am in the School Hall on Church Hill on the 2nd and 4th Sundays each month.
It is Village Worship on the 2nd Sunday, and Holy Communion on the 4th.

Everyone is welcome to attend.

This is produced 10 times per year and costs 40p. To receive regular copies please contact a churchwarden.

Other Activities

Parents and Toddlers Group (Minnows)  each Tuesday in term time 1:30pm to 2:45pm at Akeley Village Hall. Contact Margaret Culley 01280 860665.

Bible Study  every Thursday morning 10:15am to 11:30am and Wednesday evening 8:00pm to 9:30pm in term time at 23 Manor Road, Akeley.
