Saturday Bus Service for Akeley

There is a Saturday bus service into Buckingham from Akeley running, thanks to funding obtained by the Buckingham Local Area forum, until the end of March. If usage is high enough then hopefully it will be funded after that as well by the County Council in partnership with Buckingham Town Council, Parish Councils and others including traders.

The Bus number 135 goes in 5 different circuits serving about 26 villages around Buckingham including Akeley.

The Akeley circuit leaves Akeley at 12:58 (just before 1:00pm) arriving Buckingham 13:03 (1:03 pm). The return trip is 15:52 (3:52 pm). Please spread the word and encourage folk to use it even if only one way! Bus passes can be used on the service. It can save the costs of parking and be particularly useful for teenagers.
